​This is the first of five "Conversations Across the Archives" exploring the intersections between the artists I've featured over the past five years.

 

In this showcase we have photographers who are looking at where they came from and the many ways that heritage leaves its mark on them. Where we live also has an impact as we find our rhythms in the land, tides and harvests. Throughout the projects we see how culture organically stems from both the time and place we find ourselves in.
